A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER, HACKIE REITMAN, M.D.:
I want to give a big Different Brains thanks to CreativeZen for having me as their August speaker. CreativeZen is a show put on by the American Advertising Federation of Greater Fort Lauderdale, as well as Choose954. Both are dedicated to highlighting the great art and culture Fort lauderdale has to offer, and it was a great experience for their message of creativity to join with our message of neurodiversity acceptance!
I also want to give kudos to Choose954's co-founder Evan Snow for hosting and facilitating, as well as our own board member Anita Mitchell for making the connection. I saw a lot of new and familiar faces there, and met some inspiring neurodivergent audience members that are perfect examples of why the work Different Brains does is so needed.
So thanks again to the CreativeZen initiative for doing such great things for culture in Fort Lauderdale, and for supporting and embracing neurodiversity!
-Hackie Reitman, M.D.
