A new guide from Urban Institute researchers presents key considerations for nonprofit hospitals and health systems that choose to invest in affordable housing development projects. The toolkit also examines how hospitals and health systems can address patients’ housing concerns and shares actionable, research-informed strategies for designing and implementing affordable housing investments.
