A Big Change

Move to Portland, OR — Earlier this week, my husband accepted a new position with a company just outside of Portland, OR. Over the next month, we'll be boxing up all the stuff we want to take and selling or donating as much as possible so we can move as little as possible.

A New Project

Purging Paper —  It never ceases to amaze me how many bits of paper stick around despite my best efforts to scan and dispose of things as they cross my desk. This past week, I've gotten rid of tax returns back to 1989 and scanned in and shredded old client notes. #notAHoarder

A Pondering

Vlogging the Move — I'm considering making daily videos as we pack up, purge, donate, and eventually make the cross-country move. How interested are you in that type of content?

A Reminder

Conference Early Bird Pricing — There are only two weeks left to register for the International Conference on ADHD at early bird rates. After August 31st, the price goes up by $70.

I've been going to the conference since 2015 and love how it's grown over the years. This year's event is in Philadelphia, November 6th-9th. Check ADDA's website, for more information and grab your ticket here

A Video

Emotional Intimacy and Women with ADHD
This webinar from ADDA takes a deep dive into the emotional and relational lives of women with ADHD. Dr. Michelle Frank discusses common barriers to emotional intimacy for women with ADHD and basic principles of relationship dynamics that can make a big difference in how you “do” connection.

Parting Thought

The prospect of moving over 2600 miles is a bit anxiety-producing.

There's a lot of planning to be done and a fair bit of work, but at this time in two months, all of the worries will be gone, the aches subsided, and I'll be on my bike riding down a beautiful trail. In other words, I'm focusing on the positive.
