Join us at Sun King Brewery for the SWE-CI FY20 Committee Mingle!
Join us on Wednesday, August 28th for our annual Networking and Committee Mingle at Sun King Brewery! Stop by any time between 6-8 PM for snacks and a drink. You'll have a chance to meet some of SWE-CI's board members, learn about the happenings of SWE-CI, give your input on the events you'd like to see in the area, and learn about how to get involved! Sun King's downtown location is family friendly, so feel free to bring the kiddos!
**Sun King will donate $1 to SWE-CI per beer sold at this event, so feel free to invite your friends and family!
Still need a few more volunteers for a Girls Inc. STEM outreach event!
We're looking for a few more volunteers to help teach 12-14 year old girls about the Engineering Grand Challenges related to healthcare. The event is on Saturday, September 7th from 10:00AM - 2:00 PM and will be held at Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis on Meridian Street. Volunteers will help as an extra set of hands to execute a prepared lesson and interactive activity. Interested volunteers can email Katherine at outreach.swe.ci@gmail.com and can volunteer for one shift or the whole time.
Join us for a free Private Wine Tasting at Mallow Run Winery!
We are hosting a fun and informal wine tasting event on September 25th, 7:00 - 8:30 PM at Mallow Run Winery's Private Tasting room.Each guest will receive 6 complimentary wine tastings, plus one complimentary glass of wine! Snacks will be provided by SWE-CI.

Call for Volunteers and Coordinators for IndyRAGE (Raising Awareness for Girls in Engineering), a FIRST Robotics Competition!
The IndyRAGE group is looking for 50+ volunteers for the event and also 2+ leaders to organize and coordinate volunteers!
Leader role: To communicate and coordinate with volunteers to make sure everyone knows their role/job, attend the event both days to make sure volunteers know what to do and help the event run smoothly; Volunteer role(s): Set up the competition fields; reset the fields; referee event; queue the next teams; judge the competitions; and more!
Volunteers are needed for half day or full day shifts. You do not need FIRST Robotics experience for most of these roles! Guidance will be given for leaders and volunteers.
Where: Perry Meridian High School When: Friday, September 27th 4pm-8pm for field setup – Saturday, September 28th 7:30am-5pm
