Sunday School
Adult Sunday school meets at 9:30am in room 13.
Children's and Youth's Sunday school meets every Sunday during worship.

Red Birds Game
Since there is such a large group going to the game, if you would like to carpool, we will meet in the church parking lot at 1:10pm Sunday.

Hearing Screenings
Free hearing screening for 5 days: Aug. 19th - 23rd. To make an appointment call 758-0544 and tell them you were notified about the free testing. If it turns out you will benefit from a hearing aid there is also an offer for $200 of a pair. Be assured this is not the kind of practice that tries to "sell you" a hearing aid; they are honest and have been known to say, "Yes, you have a hearing loss but a hearing aid will not help you". Their office is 7675 Wolf River Circle Suite 101, Germantown. They have a group of Doctors of Audiology and they are all good. Even if you think your hearing is fine it is good to have a baseline to compare to for the future. Contact Janet Bartosch, Parish Nurse, with any questions.

Faith and Advocacy: Connecting our Worship and our Witness.
Idlewild Presbyterian Church invites us to join together on Sunday, August 25th from 5-7 PM for an educational Forum followed by worship. As we enjoy a light supper together, Dr. Pete Gathje will deliver a presentation entitled “A Biblical Call to Leitourgia--Public Work,” followed by a worship service in the chapel led by MICAH’s Lead Organizer, The Rev. Ayanna Johnson Watkins. At the service of worship, we will take up an “Offering of Letters” to support some of MICAH’s work.

Breaking Through: Partnering for Power, Acting for Justice
MICAH’s annual public meeting will be on Sunday, September 15th, 4:30-6p at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Westwood. All candidates for the upcoming Memphis Mayoral and City Council races will be invited to attend.

Tai Chi for Health
Meets Mondays, at 6pm, in the fellowship hall. Free, open to the community.  Suitable for all levels and can be done seated. Call Cynthia Mealer for further details or questions at 833-1746.

St. Luke's Food Pantry
16 oz. jars of peanut butter are needed.
