WSTA Advocacy page now with

I-976 Facts & Information

I-976, the $30 car tab initiative on the November Ballot, poses significant impacts to the State Ferry System, State Patrol, City revenue for road improvements, Sound Transit light rail build-out, and public transit across this state.

In an effort to provide information to WSTA members and the public, WSTA has dedicated our Advocacy page on our website for Facts and Information about I-976 including; ballot language, fiscal impact and detailed impacts on transit in Washington State.  The goal will be to collect information from agencies on what impact losing state funding would be and share that as a resource. Stay tuned as we continue to update this page.

That's A Wrap!

The 43rd Washington State Public Transportation Conference, Vendor Expo, and State Roadeo is in the books. Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, sponsored and volunteered.

WSTA Staff are in the process of closing out the conference which will take us a few days. We ask that you be patient while we work to upload the presentations and banquet photos to our website, begin invoicing and other odds and ends.

Thank you in advance!

WSTA is proud to co-host the 2020 44th Washington State Public Transportation Conference Vendor Expo, & State Roado with APTA's State Public Transportation Partnerships Conference.

APTA at our Conference will bring an increased presence from Federal Transit Administration officials along with organizations such as; Community Transportation Association of America and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials.

We are thankful and excited Spokane Transit has welcomed us to their community for this major event.  See you next year and save the date!
