And we're back.

Happy September!  Things are slowly getting going here in the Philadelphia dance world.  I have a *few* things to share... Start scrolling! (The above photo was taken on tour in front of the Pennsylvania Capitol Building by Harlee Trautman.  Moves by STB.)

This June brought Not all leaks are important for SoLow Fest.  I was lucky enough to get to promote this "show" a little on the radio (WPPN 106.5FM!  Who knew radio still existed? Kat J. Sullivan danced.
In July I performed a new solo at Plays & Players for Philadelphia Dance Day!  It's been great to work with PDD each year - I've been happy bringing improvisation to their performances and workshops for the third year in a row!
I also performed "Mountains and Seas; Plains and Streams" in New York this August!  I danced at the most recent iteration of The Craft, this time on Governors Island.  Downtown dance meets island life.  Photo by Aeric Meredith-Goujon.
Same thing, new location: I showed MaS;PaS at The Performance Garage in Philadelphia for Writ in Water, a concert benefitting our waterways!  More photos here.
Speaking of, this summer has really pushed my instruction skills: As referenced, I taught an improvisation workshop for Philadelphia Dance Day.  This picture is from the workshop last year, but I *just* found it, so it's new to me.  I'm on the far left... Obvi.
I've subbed at Philadelphia PlayArts a few times this summer!  It's much easier to teach English to babies than it is to teach stretches to pre-schoolers and their parents...  I also taught ballet at Ursinus College... Moving up?
The Naked Stark had a busy summer!  We performed an excerpt of our newest work, "Actor and The Leading Lady: Falling Up" by Katherine Kiefer Stark at Vox Populi in June before going on tour through Pennsylvania, dancing on sidewalks in Lancaster, Middletown, Harrisburg, State College, Punxsutawney, and Pittsburgh!  #TNSDancesPA #WeMetPhil
I've continued my work with Loren Groenendaal and Vervet Dance.  We performed "Surrender and Support" at Philadelphia's Awbury Arboretum in June and at InHale Performance Series at Chi MAC in August!  Pictured is Margot Electra Steinberg and me dancing on a tree stump.  Photo by Monica Cameron Frichtel.

Anne-Marie Mulgrew & Dancers Company has been rehearsing all summer for our show in October!  We'll be re-hashing "Strange Dreams: 30 Years Later" from 2018.  I'll be performing in "A Prelude of Sorts," "Forwards/Backwards," L'Amour," and "Inflatable Dreams."  This will be part of a split-bill alumni concert at Temple University on October 17-19!

For the annual Fringe Festival, I'll be walking and standing as part of Asimina Chremos and Leah Stein Dance Company collaboration "RISE: Relationship is Self Existing."  Come see me here (Love Park) on Saturday, September 14!
Thanks for reading this far: I know it's your *favorite* thing to do every three months.  There are many questions as to what my next steps will be, but I'm looking into grad school for 2020-2021.  Anyone have any recommendations or pointers? #BuriedAtEndOfEMail
