NEW this season, we shall be running a Junior U100 County team to compete in the U100s section of the Midlands Championships. If you are interested in playing please let us know! See the Midlands County Chess Union website for the latest news about this.

Coventry 2nd Junior Rapidplay
Venue: Massey Ferguson Social Club, Broad Lane, Coventry CV5 7NL
Date: 15th September, 11am - 4pm
Entry fee: £3
Time control: All moves in 15mins + 10s increments. ECF graded rapidplay.
This tournament is for U18s, split into Open, U120 and U80 sections. 5 rounds rapidplay with medals for top 3 places.

Nottinghamshire County Championships 2019
Venue: Nottingham High School, Forest Road East, Nottingham
Date: October 19th-20th
This annual event has an Open and 2 graded sections, plus a junior rapidplay on the Sunday. All events are ECF-graded.

Date: 7th September 2019, 11am - 6pm
Venue: Quinborne Community Centre, Ridgacre Road, Quinton, Birmingham B32 2TW
Entry fee: £20
Time control: 3mins + 2secs increments.
15 round blitz, FIDE rated and ECF graded.
