It's the beginning of September and a long weekend for Labor Day! Enjoy the extra time with your families. We pray you are able to relax, rest and refresh! We had a wonderful launch of the school year; we are excited for each of our HCA families to be a part of our school community and we know the Lord has great things in store for this year. We can't wait to share with you all that is going on for this school year at our Parent Night next Thursday, September 5. We would love for all our families to be a part of this night. Have a wonderful long weekend and we will see you next week!

All School Parent Night 
Thursday, September 5 

Join us for an All School Parent Night! Preschool Family Night begins at 5:30 PM in your student’s classroom. Grades K-12 begin at 6:30 PM in the Chapel and will visit your student’s classroom at 7:30 PM.

Preschool Class time: 5:30- 6:15 PM
All Parents in Chapel: 6:30- 7:15 PM
Grades K-12 Class time 7:30- 8:15 PM

*Grade 6 parents have a Parent Meeting with Mr. Young in Cafe B from 6 PM - 6:30 PM to discuss details of the Outdoor Ed trip. See below.

PICTURE DAY 9/17 & 9/18

Cornerstone Photography will be onsite conducting School Portraits. Lower and Middle School students should dress in uniform. 

Preschool, Middle, and Upper School Students: Tuesday, September 17.
Middle and Upper School students will have their school portraits taken in the East Lobby during the period in their schedule noted below.

Grade 5:  IDR, Grade 6-8: PE, Grade 9: Lunch, Grades 10-12: Bible

Preschool and Lower School Students: Wednesday, September 18
LATE START 9/5
Late start for Grades K-12 on Thursday, September 5. 

Grades K-4 begin at 9 AM.
Grades 5-12 begin at 8:50 AM.

HCA PTF MEETING
Parents, PTF needs you! We would love it if you would join us at our first PTF meeting on Friday, September 6 at 8 AM in Cafe B. There are so many ways to volunteer at HCA! We'd love for you to be a part of the team. There are spots for Moms, Dads, Grandparents, and more!
2019-20 GREEN VEHICLE STICKERS
Please make sure that you are displaying your green 2019-20 vehicle sticker on your car when you come into the parking garage at HCA. Thank you for ensuring our building is safe for our students! Our goal is 100% compliance each day. Stop by the Reception Desk if you need a sticker. 
GALA COMMITTEE
The HCA Gala 2020 is being planned now! Join the Gala committee here. Our first meeting is Friday, September 13 from 8 AM - 9 AM in Cafe B. The HCA Gala is an amazing event and our planning team can use your help.

PRESCHOOL PARENT NIGHT

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 5

Join us in our Preschool Classrooms first at 5:30 PM for Preschool Parent Night classroom time. Then head to the Chapel for the All School Family Night time from 6:30 PM - 7:15 PM. We can't wait to show you all the great things that happen in your child's classroom! You will meet in your child's classroom with the teacher and other parents. This event is for parents only.

THE PRINCESS BALL

Calling all princesses! The Princess Ball (formerly known as Daddy-Daughter dance) is coming on Sunday, October 6 from 5 PM - 7 PM in Cornerstone right here at HCA. This dance is for girls ages Preschool - Grade 6.

You and your Prince Charming (dads, uncles, grandfathers, stepdads, etc.) are invited to The Princess Ball for a fun night of music and dancing. Come celebrate your favorite princess with us and enjoy this special night especially for you!

Register by October 4, pay $25 for tickets.
After October 4, tickets increase to $30. Tickets may be purchased at the door.

Lower School News
GRADE 6 OUTDOOR EDUCATION TRIP
Grade 6 students and faculty spend time learning and growing during our annual Outdoor Education trip. Please register your Grade 6 student here. The trip will be September 9-11, 2019 at Camp Timber-lee in East Troy, WI. There will be a parent meeting on September 5, 2019 from 6:00-6:30 PM in Cafe B to discuss details for the trip.
Middle School News
Our Fall Play, Murder at the Pie Auction, will be on September 26 - 28. Save the date and make plans to join us in the Chapel! There will be an actual pie auction! Join us for this fun event. Tickets will go on sale soon.
