Ever thought of spending a semester studying at Georgia Tech (GT) - Shenzhen? Referred to as the "Silicon Valley of China," Shenzhen is a modern metropolis with a population of more than 12 million. Funding Opportunity: National Academy of Education/Spencer Dissertation Fellowship Program

This award of $27,500 supports scholars undertaking research relevant to the improvement of education. The dissertation topic must centrally concern education, but graduate study may be in any academic discipline or professional field. The deadline to apply is Oct. 3.

Fall All-Majors Career Fair

The fall Career Fair is the largest career fair offered on Tech's campus. Every year, more than 400 companies and 5,000 students attend. Companies attending are looking for students from all majors and degree programs, and are hiring interns and for full-time positions. This year's fair will be held Sept. 9-10.

Time: 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. (both days)
