As we enjoy the new seasons of spring, my prayer is that we may experience God's fresh blessings and promises in a new way. I have been pondering God's sure promises and am encouraged that as Christians we have a hope that the world cannot offer us. Scripture is overflowing with power-filled words that enrich our hearts and souls as we meander through the bumps and mountain top experiences of life.
We can be tempted to run from difficulties that overwhelm us, but instead Jesus promises to walk through the struggles with us, allowing us to grow in trust and resilience. I am always amazed when people go through hardship and find how staying close to the Lord gives them the strength to come through the other side. We can do all things because Jesus gives us the ability to make it! This is true for our church as well - Jesus Christ is sufficient for all our needs.
We have a vibrant month ahead with an array of speakers who will bless us with their God-inspired wisdom. Take a look through the program for September and October below and enjoy each opportunity that is being offered to you.
I would like to thank everyone for your ongoing commitment and participation in God's work at our church. We have pulled together beautifully as a team through some difficult times and God is moving every week in fresh ways among us. Please continue to pray for new folk who attend our services as we aim to reach more for the Kingdom of God!

We are grateful for your ongoing prayers for the Coffee Lounge ministry. Through God-led conversations we expect some of the mums and kids to attend the Watoto Children's Concert. It has been a wonderful talking point.

Kidz Church
Is there a child in your life who you wish could come to church?
Why not invite them to attend our Kidz Church program which runs every Sunday during the worship session. Children are also treated to a fun story with the greater church family before heading out to their classes. Children are also invited to participate in the service at various times.

TANYA PAMPUCH is the previous leader of the vibrant women's ministry at Newlife Church Robina. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Ministry degree with a view to being ordained. Tanya's messages are impactful and deeply meaningful. Hear her speak on SUNDAY 22 SEPTEMBER 8:30AM. Why not invite some friends and family along for this special message?
Stephen and Grace burn with the fire of the Holy Spirit. Their message will touch lives both young and old. They will be treating us to a fabulous puppet show - bring along all the children in your life for this wonderful experience!

Acclaimed Speaker Rev Dr John Frederick is coming to speak at Living Faith UC again. He is an international Christian author and speaker and currently lectures at Trinity College Queensland in the New Testament and Greek.
PASTORAL CARE COURSE
We are hosting a Pastoral Care Course run by Trinity College Queensland Lecturer, Simon Gomersall. Simon is an expert in this field and will share with us the basic principles of Pastoral Care. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the way to care for others within a Scriptural framework. We would love you to join us for this event!
