One thing we love about our ministry is that we don't stay in one place very long! Besides our normal ministry in the Midwest, the summer has taken us to other States as well.
June 17-21 we had fun serving as camp grandparents for Kids' Camp in Carlinville, IL. We loved on, played with & prayed with hundreds of kids.
June 22-July 1st we made a trip out east to minister in churches in WV, PA & MD. We also served a day with our friends at a booth for the new Tri-State Teen Challenge Center.
July 26-August 5th We drove to FL, met with ministry partners, preached at New Life Assembly in Pembroke Pines and attended both the Influence Conference and General Council. We served in the US Missions booth, participated in the business meetings, soaked up great preaching and teaching and enjoyed fellowship with old and new friends.
We participated in several weekly prayer walks during the summer on campuses in Bloomington/Normal where Chi Alpha is starting ministry.
We truly love cultivating missions anyway and anywhere the doors open for us, especially when we get to partner with others. Jesus said "If I be lifted up I will draw all men unto me." Thank YOU for helping us lift up Jesus in our town and across our great nation.

3...2...1...Blast Off!!!
We ended the month of August with another missionary associates get-together in our home. We caught up on each others' lives over dinner & celebrated the Boehl's heading to Botswana September 17th with ice cream cake. We wrapped up the evening, as we do each one, praying over each other. These times have been so special...powerful...life changing for each of us in different ways. What a joy & privilege we have to do life with these precious world changers. PLEASE PRAY for Jesus to bring another buyer for the Boehl's home as their buyer just fell through.
Please pray for the Boehl's to sell their home before they leave for Africa on the 17th.
