Hello to all of our KND followers – artists, wave-makers and dance-lovers.
It hasn’t been long since our last Newsletter, so this update isn’t focussed on what we’ve been up to – instead, we are announcing the ways in which you could join us in the studio before the end of the year...exciting times!
The nights are starting to get just a little bit chilly and the end of the year is coming faster than we would like at KND. We have just over three more months to figure out how we are going to close the year with satisfaction, and make 2019 count. With that in mind, KND are excitedly launching two more opportunities before the end of the year, for you to get involved in. We hope you can join us!
PLEASE NOTE that attendance at all of our opportunities is via application only. Places will sell quickly so please apply early to avoid disappointment. Applications are considered and places are offered in the order that CVs are received. We actively encourage BAME and disabled applicants and value the positive impact that difference has on our work, our opportunities and the KND community as a whole.

KND Professional Masterclass Series: London 11th - 15th November 2019 – Lanterns Studio Theatre
The Professional Masterclass Series features live music and restricted numbers. These classes are followed by one hour of networking, encouraging the opportunity to connect with fellow dancers. This opportunity is offered at a special rate if attending the full week (5 masterclasses: £80 which includes 1 masterclass for FREE!) or £20 per masterclass for a single or collection of masterclasses.

Attached to these classes, we offer a special discounted rate on Creative Coaching sessions for Masterclass attendees (£50/session). These one-on-one sessions with Kerry can encompass mentoring, coaching, goal setting and life planning strategies, exploring goals both inside and outside the studio.

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND... The Parachute Series 9th and 10th November 2019 – Lanterns Studio Theatre, London
We haven’t been enjoying turning those of you away who have applied for our Professional Masterclass Series but who have only just graduated – so, earlier this year we created The Parachute Series. Made especially for those of you who would like to attend our professional level masterclasses but are not yet established artists (i.e in your final year of professional training or within three years after graduation).
We piloted this opportunity in June with huge success and are now hopeful that this activity will become a regular feature within the KND ladder of opportunities. We would love to open this out to all of our Minding the Gap Alumni, previous Parachute Series attendees and any new faces who would like to experience KND’s high-quality training that directly responds to the current job landscape.

We are keen to offer flexibility to applicants to either apply to join us for both masterclasses as a weekend series (2 masterclasses: £40) or an individual masterclass if your availability is limited (£20/masterclass). It goes without saying that in order to gain the most from this experience, we would strongly advise attending on both days and request that you indicate your preferences within your email application.
As with our Professional Masterclass Series you can add to your experience and book your own hour of Creative Coaching with Kerry after the masterclasses. Creative Coaching - attached to The Parachute Series - is an opportunity for you to spend an hour with Kerry outside of the studio, to talk through personal career plans and aspirations. Working collaboratively in this way, ensures that you come away armed with practical advice and the confidence needed to achieve the next steps in your early-career, and to shape the creative life you want to lead.
These sessions are limited and offered at a special discounted rate of £50/session. If you're interested please highlight this as part of your application email.
