'Handle With Care'. Concerned for Creation? Want to take action locally? Want to share with other Christians? A new ecumenical group to bring Christian perspective on the environmental issues we face will take place at Cafe Banes, Southdown Methodist Centre, BA2 1NJ at 7.30pm.
Sunday 15 September: 'A Harvest Hope for God's Work'.
Time to thank and a time to think.
A Rocha is a Christian environmental group founded 30 years ago and Rev. Peter Harris (founder member) and Rev. Dr. Dave Bookless (Director of Theology A Rocha Int.) will help us as we thank God and think about our responsibilities. The plans for the day include:
10:30 am - Morning Service
12:30 pm - Lunch Together (“Culinary riches - enjoy seasonal and vegetarian”)
3:00 pm - Afternoon Family Activity – “Wild Widcombe”
4:30 pm – Workshop - “God’s word in God’s world ... the scope of the gospel”
6:30 pm - Informal Evening Service to learn, think and pray

Sunday 15 September: 'Taize' A reflective and contemplative service of singing, readings and silence. Music from the Taizé community. St Mary’s Church, Charlcombe Lane, BA1 8DR at 6.30pm.
(Park in Charlcombe Lane and walk up the track to the church.People may be dropped off at the door if needed.)
