"She can keep tweeting. It's not going to happen."

Is the dream of a totally free Circulator really dead? According to Mayor Bowser, who has championed the campaign in the name of transit equity, hell no. Despite DC Council’s repeated refusals to fund the proposal, Bowser is ready to die on the #FreeCirculator hill and has taken to Twitter to win over public opinion

Only the Redfin agents are happy about this

Amazon HQ is coming, and it's causing a furor in the previously staid NoVa rental market. Although the retail giant won’t officially be setting up shop for awhile, locals are already driving up costs, with some preemptively buying up properties at inflated prices in anticipation of renting to monied Amazon workers arriving over the next few years.

  • New HQ workers will reportedly make an average $150k/year; unclear if they'll face the same punishing working conditions as their warehouse counterparts.

Love is in the cards

College Park engineers Andy and Kristin Looney used to work for NASA. Then they started a game company, and the hit card game Fluxx has the firm taking off.
