Youth • Community • Connection

We have 2 more dates this year for our Youth Community Connection project in Falkland and we are very king on getting more people involved. The project is targeted at young people empowering them to become leaders and the presence of the community for them to deliver activities is essential. So if you are interested in nature connected community, art of mentoring, empowering young people, then this project is for you.

Time: 11am to 5pm. Arrival 10:30am for registration and orientation
Facilitators: Adele Clarke, 8 Acorn volunteers and young people. 

The Planetary Healing Centre has received a grant to support this project, therefore we can help you pay for transportation. If you need support for that or any other form of support, please text us on 075 0443 8763. 

This project is free for young people, their families and friends and donations from other adults participating are welcomed.

Permaculture • Art • Nature

We now have a permacutture group that meets every Friday at our woodland in Balerno. We would like to explore growing edible mushroom, forest fruits and also plant lots of trees. Anyone interested in  contributing to enrich the group with knowledge and hands on or just coming along to learn more are very welcome to join this group.  The 6th and 13th of September will be special dates where we will deliver Nature Connection activities with Adele Clarke facilitating. After that the group will pretty much self-govern. All welcome.

Our new Day Coordinator

The Planetary Healing Centre is delighted to introduce you to Michelle Mason, our new Coordinator. Michelle was chosen by our board of trustees following a fearsome recruitment process that happened end of July. We say fearsome because the number of candidates we had with amazing experience and beautiful hearts was incredible so it was not an easy decision to make. Michelle started beginning of August when we re-opened after summer break. Her words: " I am hard working, conscientious and treat everyone I meet with care and respect." We are deeply grateful to Michelle for choosing to come and support our Planetary Healing work. 

Indigenous People Project

An appeal for prayers from our co-founder Claudia Goncalves.

I invite you to join us for collective prayers every day at 10pm to help the Amazon and our indigenous people. Reckless fires have been devastating the Amazon and have reached the Estate of Acre, where one of our projects is. The current President of Brazil has been acting and creating total chaos and devastation for all the indigenous people of Brazil, specially in the Amazon region because he wants to allow America to explore the Amazon. His acts and deeds will affect many generations in the future.

Our collective prayer is deeply needed. I also ask you to support the Extinction Rebellion movement. They have recently began a campaign protesting against the tragedy that is happening in the Amazon. Blessings to the young rebellions, our future generation, who see into the future and are actting now for the Earth.
