Monday – Read: Isaiah 25:8 Think: What does it mean that God will “swallow up death”? Pray: For someone who is mourning the death of a family member or a friend.

Tuesday – Read: Psalm 34:17-18 Think: What can we do when we need help or when our spirits are crushed? Pray: To receive deliverance from troubles and to depend on God.

Wednesday – Read: Psalm 34:22 Think: Who does the Lord redeem? What are we redeemed from? Pray: Take refuge in the Lord as you talk with him and ask for relief from condemnation.

Thursday – Read: 1 Corinthians 15:50-57 Think: Meditate on the second coming of Christ and what it means for Christ followers. Pray: Ask God to help you think eternally today and not just “live in the moment”.

Friday – Read: 1 Corinthians 15: 58 Think: Is any work done in the name of the Lord in vain? Pray: God will grant you strength and enthusiasm as you serve his kingdom on earth.
