Dear Middle School Parents,
We are looking forward to our annual middle school retreat on Thursday, August 29th and Friday, August 30th. Click HERE for an overview of our schedule. The retreat will be $25 per student and this fee will be charged to your Smart Tuition account.
Here are some important reminders for each day:
- THURSDAY
--Calvary Free Dress ($3 per student if you didn't sign up for the annual plan)
--Bring a lunch (If you ordered pizza lunch for your child, they may pick it up.).
--RECENTLY ADDED --> We are excited to add a new component to this year's retreat. Pastor Matt Doan will be taking our students to visit the OC Rescue Mission, a ministry partner of Calvary Church. Please click HERE to download a permission slip. Please return it to us ASAP in order for your child to attend. We will be taking a school bus to the Rescue Mission.
--Regular school pick-up at 3:10p in Fruit St. Parking Lot
- FRIDAY
--Students may wear bathing suits under shorts/shirts. Please be mindful of the CCS Free Dress Standards which apply even for a beach day. Click HERE to review (see page 3).
--Bring money for lunch.
--We will be taking a school bus to Newport Beach and will be between Towers 15 & 18. We have coordinated with the City of Newport Beach so that a lifeguard will be present while we are there.
--We will return to CCS for pick-up at 1:30pm in the Wellington Ave. lot. Please be prompt! (Please note: Elementary students are dismissed at 12pm on Friday.)
