I am sad to share that our friend, musician Darden Burns has died. Please find below the notice sent out by St. Barnabas, where Darden was most recently a member, and where her memorial service will be held. Please join me in praying  for Darden, for her family, and for all who mourn her loss.

Beloved parishioner of St. Barnabas, pianist and choir member Darden Burns died on Thursday, August 22, 2019. Darden struggled with severe chronic illness throughout her adult life and was an advocate for people with Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia Syndromes.
 
During this time of mourning our prayers are with Darden's family and with all those who love her. Darden's memorial service will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, September 14th at St Barnabas (1187 Wyatt Way NW).
 
Loving God, we pray to you for Darden, and for all those whom we love but see no longer. Grant to her eternal rest. Let light perpetual shine on her. May her soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
