The fourth Industrial Revolution?

In a recent article published in the Heller Report, Martin explains the background to Industry 4.0 and how, when combined with new technology, it can deliver considerable business advantage to industrial companies.

“IIoT is powerful, but when combined with an Industry 4.0 end-to-end strategic view, the opportunities are considerably greater,” says Martin. “The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is the grittier end of the Internet of Things (IoT) revolution that is sweeping the manufacturing sector. IIoT alone is estimated to deliver 10-25% productivity improvements, but when combined with analytics, automation, lean approaches, and artificial intelligence (AI), as recommended by Industry 4.0, the opportunity is many times greater.”

Martin has had considerable experience driving Industry 4.0 and using operational intelligence to deliver improved business results right here in Atlantic Canada.

In this webinar Martin partners with Jim Gavigan from Industrial Insight Inc. to discuss how Industry 4.0 approaches combined with IoT technology can deliver maintenance improvements of up to 30%.
