Your membership supports Buffalo Bayou Partnership's mission to revitalize and maintain the 10-mile stretch of Buffalo Bayou from Shepherd Drive to the Port of Houston Turning Basin.
BBP activates the waterway through pedestrian, boating and biking amenities; volunteer activities; permanent and temporary art installations; and wide-ranging tours and programs that engage tens of thousands of visitors each year.

Tour of Glenwood Cemetery: Buffalo Bayou's Neighbor

Glenwood Cemetery, established in 1871 just north of Buffalo Bayou Park, is perhaps one of the most well-known and most historic cemeteries in Houston. Led by a docent from Preservation Houston, members will learn about Houston's most significant early citizens including those that played an integral part in developing the area along Buffalo Bayou. This is a members-only event.
Cost: $5 for members of The Currents (usually $15)
