You are cordially invited to the 2019 Empower Lunch and Indie Awards featuring Guest Speaker LeRoy Butler, as well as the presentation of the Indie Awards, which recognize excellence in accessibility, inclusion and advocacy.
Guest Speaker LeRoy Butler was born severely pigeon-toed and spent much of his early youth in a wheelchair. Doctors predicted that he would be lucky to ever walk unassisted. At the age of eight Butler discovered that he could not only walk, he could run pretty well. And so his incredible sports career began.
