Dear <<First Name>>,

Bring it for Pikes Peak MCC!

In just seven weeks, we will be celebrating our 10th annual Bring it Bash fundraiser for our church. Here’s ways you can help us prepare for it.
  1. Silent Auction Donations: Do you know of someone who would be willing to offer goods OR services as a donation to PPMCC? Do you fix things, make something beautiful, or know someone who does? Ask them for a donation for our silent auction (new items only).
  2. Do you know a business who might be willing to sponsor the event? We have sponsorship levels of $250, $500, and $1000, with varying levels of perks. To find out more about sponsorships, please contact Jessica Kobylinski on the Board of Directors
  3. Start planning your costume now! The theme is “Out of This World” - anything space or alien-related will be perfect.
  4. Set aside money to purchase tickets when they go on sale in a few weeks.
  5. Invite friends to purchase tickets and come to the event.
  6. Budget money to purchase auction items the night of the event.
  7. Sign up volunteer. We need help with decorations and set-up before the event. We also need donations of yummy desserts for the night of the event.
Help us make this year the most successful Bash yet!

Peace,

Westside Cares
Garden Bed Project

Saturday, Sept 21
Join PPMCC's Do Unto Others Ministry in partnership with Westside Care's Garden Bed Project that helps low income families have gardens at their home.  This fall we'll be putting the garden beds to "sleep" and tucking them in with nourishing fertilizer, Alpaca "beans," from a farm in Black Forest.  Trucks and shovelers are needed!  Sign up on the sheet in the sanctuary, or contact Trudy Welsh via e-mail or call her at 719-238-9467 for more information.

TheatreWorks Presents
The Mountaintop

By Katori Hall, Directed by Donnie L. Betts

Ent Center for the Arts

The Mountaintop is a fictional retelling of how Martin Luther King Jr. spent his last night on earth before his tragic assassination.  The Mountaintop shows the audience a different side of Martin Luther King: a man who is tired, flawed, and yet -- despite everything -- an inspiration.
