The Niche Vehicle Network will be exhibiting at Cenex LCV on 4th - 5th September at Millbrook, Bedfordshire, so make sure you come along and meet the NVN team and the companies featured on our stand.
Our stand will feature innovative prototype niche vehicles with the latest developments in low carbon and autonomous technologies.  We have an eclectic mix which includes an autonomous tractor, electric refrigerated truck, a novel e-bike, an electric sports car concept, a light delivery van, an road-sweeping pod, and a carbon fibre supercar.  Most importantly, you can come and meet the people responsible for their development.

Niche Vehicle Network have supported Autocar in producing a special supplement to its magazine, which spotlights UK low carbon vehicle technology. Make sure you collect your free copy from our stand at LCV.

The key objective of our competition is to establish the feasibility and viability of concepts to help catalyse innovative low carbon vehicle technologies, prior to full collaborative R&D project development. To support this, Niche Vehicle Network are again offering grants of up to £25k towards the cost of initial desk-top based feasibility studies.
The competition opens at LCV on 4^th September with online application through the dedicated Portal on the NVN website. Bids must be submitted by 11^th October. The studies run for 3 months and must be completed by the end of March 2020. Please visit us on our stand at LCV to discuss your ideas. 

This year the Niche Vehicle Network will be supporting 14 new R&D projects which are seeking innovative solutions at the leading edge of electrification, autonomy, lightweight materials and advanced aerodynamics.
Come and hear about the winning projects and meet the people involved, when we announce them at LCV. This is scheduled for 1.15pm on 5th September at the UK Government Pavilion in Hall 3. Senior representatives from Innovate UK and Advanced Propulsion Centre will be on hand to present the winning consortia with grant cheques and join in the photo call. This will be followed by a networking opportunity on our stand – so please join us.
