A very quick update - time is at a premium this month, I'm afraid.
Firstly, a hastily decided Write Then Socialise will be this coming Saturday from 10-12 at Miss Twinkleton's Cafe, opposite Rochester library. My apologies for the late hour and that I've yet to secure a bigger venue. With the festival itself in September, I will have time to sort out something more permanent from October onwards.
On the Murderous Medway front, we have just one All Day Panel Pass available, and Panel 1 is sold out. So if you want to see Elly Griffiths, William Shaw and Lesley Thomson, that all day pass is now your only ticket in.
We have between 7-14 tickets remaining across the other four panels, so if you do have a preference, please don't delay your booking any longer, as we would hate to disappoint you.
The Rochester Literature Festival is a voluntary, community and non-profit making organisation run by writers for readers, writers and like minds.
We aim to bring writers, performers, musicians, directors, producers and film makers together, anyone, in fact, whose work has creative writing at its heart. We want to expand the horizons of the many diverse communities in Medway, and collaborate with like minded folk to do that.
Our aim is to prove that literature is for everyone and can bring a community together, to learn from each other and experience great multi-arts activities and entertainment together to aid community spirit and wellbeing.
We want to engage our audiences with a superb mix of traditional and innovative literary events, full of imagination and flair. And we believe passionately that were Medway a book, it would be an epic tale in a genre all its own!
