Get Ready for a Whole Week of Involvement

Mark your calendars to make sure you don't miss the Get Involved Fair and other ways to get connected!

Tuesday, September 3

  • Get Involved Fair: Come visit with a few of the 600+ organizations at Mizzou at the Student Center from 10 am-2 pm.
  • TEAM Information Session: Learn about the Transfer Experience and Advising Mentor program's mentoring process and how they develop new transfer students.

Wednesday, September 4

  • Mix and Mingle: Join the Multicultural Center for its annual event welcoming the Mizzou community back to campus -- food included!
  • Study Abroad Fair: Chat with MU faculty and staff, study abroad returnees and program representatives to start exploring where YOU will go.
  • SHP Involvement Fair and Career Services Open House: Meet representatives from the School of Health Professions orgs, study abroad, advising, career services, and more.
  • New Student Organization Info Sessions: Learn vital details regarding the process to have an organization recognized by the University.
  • Fall Fest 2019: Comicon: Fall Fest is an annual event introducing students to student organizations, faculty/staff, University departments, and Columbia businesses.

Thursday, September 5

  • Volunteer Fair 2019: Stop by the Student Center from 10:30 am-1:30 pm to check out all the service opportunities Mizzou has to offer!
  • Campus Farmers' Market: Vendors will present mouthwatering locally grown produce, opportunities to get involved with sustainability-focused organizations and more.
  • LGBTQ Resource Center Open House: Join the LGBTQ Resource Center to hear about upcoming programs.
  • Green Dot Mizzou Day: The Relationship and Sexual Violence Prevention Center (RSVP) Center will share info about Green Dot and what the Center does. 
  • MGC 101: Learn what it means to be a member of the fraternities and sororities of the Multicultural Greek Council.
  • Club Sports Fair: Come out to learn more about playing club sports at Mizzou.

Friday, September 6

  • Step Forward Day: RSVP to take part in a day of service for first-year, transfer and graduate students -- transportation and food are provided.
  • International Welcome Party: Get a taste of Mizzou’s global community at the Student Center where international organizations showcase their cultures through food, activities and music!
Saturday, September 7
  • Tiger Ave. Tailgate: Enjoy food and games with hundreds of fellow Tigers, including Vice Provost of Student Affairs Dr. Bill Stackman and Dean of Students Dr. Jeff Zeilenga.
  • September Green Dot Conference: This training is an interactive way to learn about how you as an individual can make a difference and be an active bystander. 
Tiger Avenue Tailgate, hosted by the Vice Provost for Student Affairs and the Dean of Students. Mizzou vs. West Virginia, Sept. 7 | 8-11am. Free Food, Games, and fun!
