🌎 Reinventing Health & Fitness
It’s only a matter of time now until you’ll be able to take your health and fitness game to the next level at Upgrade Labs locations nationwide. The biohacking and recovery studio thought up by Bulletproof CEO Dave Asprey already has two locations in LA, but they’ve revealed plans to expand across the country. No word on when or where, but in the meantime, you can head to the Santa Monica or Beverly Hills studios to hack your way to health.

🍽 A Sweet New Menu
Our favorite vegan-friendly poke spot, Sweetfin, debuted a new menu last week, and it’s safe to say we’re here for it. Swing by any one of their LA-area locations to treat yourself to their entirely plant-based kale and shiitake mushroom spring rolls, or to load up on one of their Signature Bowl additions. And if you decide to create your own dish, a cauliflower rice base is now a thing.

👆 Yoga’s Going Up On A Sunday
Shanti Hot Yoga opened in Culver City a few months ago, and it’s been a welcome addition to the area’s yoga landscape. But even better, just last week, they announced the arrival of their latest format, a Zen Yin class. Every Sunday from 5:15-6:30pm, stop in for a mindful Yin-style flow full of longer holds for added stress relief. What a perfect way to #selfcaresunday!

Luckily, we’ve curated a list of all the best hiking spots in LA, so you can spend the last few days of summer soaking up some rays while you take in the sights and sounds of the great outdoors. Yes, Runyon Canyon made the list, but there are plenty of hidden gems for you to check out, too. So lace up those hiking boots — we’ll see you on the trail!

Mark your calendars for exactly one week from today because that’s when La Colombe Coffee Roasters is letting loose their brand new vegan canned Oatmilk Draft Latte made in collaboration with Oatly. The buzzy pick-me-up will be available in three flavors — original, vanilla, and caramel and we seriously can’t wait to try them out. Stop by any of their four LA cafes to get your fix, or snag a few online through Amazon.
