From here, the countdown begins, as the Australian Technologies Competition prepares for its end of year Finals & Awards Ceremony in exactly 43 days!  Come join us on October 29 in one of the world's most liveable cities - Melbourne!
Finals Day 29 October
ATC's 2019 Finals will bring together a wide range of stakeholders in Australia's innovation, tech and commercialisation ecosystem.  In adidition to our finalists pitching to win, it's a day that will unite ATC alumni, accelerators, incubators, industry associations, corporate, investors, HNW individuals, mentors, judges, aspiring startups, scaleups, government representatives, investors, angel groups, media and all those involved in the trade, growth, promotion and commercialisation of Australian technology.

FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
Federal Government provides funding to plastic waste and recycling innovators
The Australian Federal Government has recently announced $20million in funding towards projects/technology that address reducing plastic waste and boosting plastic recycling.  If you or a business you know could benefit from this grant opportunity, click here for details.  Application deadline is 24 September 2019.
CLEAN & GREEN VICTORIA
VCC brings together industry stakeholders
In The Victorian Cleantech Cluster (VCC) launched in June of this year as a not-for-profit member driven organisation with a vision for Victoria to be the Southern Hemisphere capital for innovation, uptake and commercialisation of clean technology. Liveability Victoria International is a major sponsor of the VCC.
The Victorian Cleantech Cluster is an industry-led cluster that was established recently with the support of the Victorian Government’s Liveability Victoria International (LVI). 
 

The Cluster provides an opportunity for Victorian companies and organisations in the clean technology space to come together, collaborate, be a part of a collective voice, explore investment and funding, as well as develop market and export opportunities. 2018 ATC Smart Cities Finalist Ynomia made headlines earlier this month after securing $3.6 million in seed funding.  Based in Melbourne, Ynomia provides Bluetooth-powered technology to track materials and keep people more connected on construction sites.  Click to read about Ynomia's milestone here.
FluroSat finds its purple patch
ATC's 2017 winner of the Food & Agribusiness Award, FluroSat, continues on a path of global expansion, recently securing $4.6million in funding.  FluroSat is a data analytics company combining imagery and farming records to produce recommendations on how to optimise crops.
