Take care and repair
Whether you are up in the mountains or simply enjoying your weekend camping trip, you want your clothing and equipment to keep you warm and dry so you can enjoy the activities that you like. The brands that we carry at Mt Waddington's Outdoors are amongst the best in the outdoor industry. Although they might vary in their mission statements, brands like Patagonia and Icebreaker are conscious about the environmental impact of clothing and gear waste.
It is perfectly normal from time to time to experience some defect with a jacket zipper, a hole in your tent or a snag on your sweater. Before thinking about buying a replacement, you might want to consider your other options such as a quick stitch, install a patch or purchase a replacement zipper. Taking care of your gear will promote the longevity of the fabric which is why we recommend to always clean, hang dry, treat and store your gear as soon as you're back from the wilderness. If you are not sure how treat or maintain your outdoor equipment, feel free to check out the Patagonia Worn Wear page: https://www.patagonia.com/worn-wear-repairs/.
