WHO WE ARE
___
WEbuilding is a Berlin-based non-profit organization founded by an international group of architects, united by a common purpose: help deprived communities through sustainable public building projects. In each project we work together with a local NGO that will ensure the maintenance and operation of the building after its completion.

|
PROJECTS
___
WEbuilding’s first completed project is the construction of a primary school for the community of Damang, in the eastern region of Ghana. The school consists of six classrooms, each accommodating up to 30 kids and a toilet.
At the moment we are focusing on a new project - a 6-classroom elementary school in Koforidua, Ghana.
Alongside, we are contributing to the Humbi Farm project in Xai Xai, Mozambique for the construction of a 15-hectare permaculture farm, implementing bio-construction with materials from the region.
That's not all...there are more exciting projects forthcoming! For those, we will be working on two different continents. The first one is the construction of a Youth Center in Douala, Cameroon and the others will bring us to Colombia for the project of two different schools. In La Ensanada we will do a project for a complete makeover of the school, from primary to high, and in Santiago de Putumayo we will work on the construction of 6 additional classrooms in the already existing school complex.

WORKSHOPS

We strongly believe in the enriching power of cultural exchange.
While carrying out our first project in Ghana, we had the great opportunity to learn a lot about the country, and from this experience the idea to share our knowledge with the little ones.
Therefore, we have recently started to conceptualize and offer workshops for children to promote cultural awareness. In a playful way through various games we will introduce interesting facts about all the countries where we are doing our projects!

WEbuilding e.V. is a non-profit organization fully and exclusively run by volunteers. All projects are funded through donations and grants, so every every Euro counts and it will make the difference. Thank you for your support!
