The Judicial Appointments Commission has been asked to identify up to 35 candidates to recommend for authorisation to act as judges of the High Court in accordance with s9(1) of the Senior Courts Act 1981.
Successful candidates could be deployed to sit across any of the three divisions of the High Court (Chancery, Family and the Queen’s Bench) and anywhere in England and Wales. Candidates applying for this post must be of high calibre, exceptional ability and able to demonstrate the same skills and abilities as those in the High Court.
Successful candidates will be authorised for a fixed term of 4 years.
