|
East Lothian Food and Drink have received funding from Connect Local to update their website. The updated website is due to be launched in September and will include the following new sections:
1) Information about tours and events
- There will be information about events, exhibitions and shows that our members are attending. We will include the date of the event, the location, a brief description of the event and a link to the booking site or event website. The ELFD team will keep an eye out for events on members websites/social media but would be grateful if members could let us know of events they will be attending.
- We will also have information about factory/premises tours that are available in East Lothian.
- If you do not want information about your events included on the ELFD website, please email info@scotlandsfooddrinkcounty.com.
2) Job listings
- We will be able to include information about our members job vacancies including the job title, location, a brief description, contact details and (if applicable) link to the original job advert.
- If you have a job that you would like to advertise a job on the East Lothian Food and Drink website, please email info@scotlandsfooddrinkcounty.com
3) Forum
- The new website will include a forum for our members. We hope that the forum will allow our members to chat to one another informally about food and drink products and production.
4) Updated members pages
- All members pages will be updated to include links members social media pages websites.
6) Blogs (news and jobs)
The new website will have two blog sections:
- We are hoping to encourage more people to consider jobs in the food and drink industry and will be writing blogs about jobs in different parts of the sector (think day in the life!). If you are interested in writing a short blog about your job/experience/role, please email info@scotlandsfooddrinkcounty.com
- We will also be writing blogs about new products/events/awards etc. If you have news that you would like to be included on our website, get in touch by emailing info@scotlandsfooddrinkcounty.com
