Dubai Tourism and the City of Brno joined our network.
Logo Dubai
Dubai Tourism is the principal authority for the planning, supervision, development and marketing of Dubai’s tourism sector. It markets and promotes the Emirate’s commerce sector, and is responsible for the licensing and classification of all tourism services, including hotels, tour operators and travel agents.

Logo Brno
The city of Brno is located in the very heart of Central Europe on a virtual junction of connecting lines among the capital cities of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria. This modern and dynamically developing city hosts a number of international happenings and events – MOTO GP, Janáček Brno Music Festival, International Biennial of Graphic Design, Olympic Festival, and more.

New management structure

Get to know the IAEH work streams and respective directors.
New structure
IAEH directors have agreed on a new management structure including seven work streams and the appointment of a Chair to lead the IAEH's daily activities.
Susan Sawbridge, manager at New Zealand Major Events, has been appointed Chair of the International Association of Event Hosts by the group of IAEH directors in August 2019. Susan acts as a volunteer director of the IAEH since 2016.
The new structure evenly distributes responsibilities across the board of directors and standardises the proceedings at board meeting and conference calls.
IAEH workshop at Host City Conference
Share best practice cases with a specialised audience at the Host City Conference.
Host City
Through the IAEH strategic partnership with Host City, IAEH members will take part in a dedicated workshop at the 2019 Host City Conference in Glasgow in November. IAEH directors worked with Host City organisers to design a session on the topic of "Sustainable development – how can events help achieve the UN’s Global Goals". IAEH encourages members to come to Glasgow and participate in the workshop by presenting an example of how you have used events to further development goals.

IAEH members have 50% discount on the first delegate pass and further discount on additional passes. To get the discount code contact Olga Correia (olga@eventhosts.org) or Ben Avison (ben.avison@cavendishgroup.co.uk). The discount code is valid only until 7th September.
