*Spirit Monday -
The first Monday of each month will be designated as Spirit Monday; school t-shirts, jeans or school appropriate shorts may be worn for $1.00 per student.  Clothing must be free of rips and holes.
September 2 - September 6
Monday – No School
Tuesday -  Chicken Nuggets, Baked Beans, Potato Wedges, Salad Bar, Roll, Fruit & Milk
Wednesday -  Turkey Roast, Mashed Potatoes w/ gravy, Green Beans, Salad Bar, Roll, Fruit & Milk
Thursday – Cheese Nacho, Pinto Beans, Corn, Salad Bar, Fruit & Milk
Friday -  Chicken Sandwich, Chips, Lettuce Cup, Salad Bar, Fruit & Milk

Daily Breakfast:
$1/breakfast item | $.50/milk or juice
Breakfast bars, poptarts, breakfast burritos, etc may be available on any given morning.
7-12 grade parents: letters and results from the recent drug testing were mailed Friday, 8/30.
WORKERS NEEDED!
Waitresses needed for the September 17th Farm Bureau dinner.  We ask for around 5 per class.  Sign up HERE.

Herr & Dame Competition:
Again this year, in an effort to encourage raffle ticket sales, our students will be participating in the Oktoberfest Walk, which will feature randomly selected representatives from each class at SH during the event.Leading up to Oktoberfest, classes will compete to see which class sells the most raffle tickets; based on ticket sales, the winning class will be named during the event and their representatives will be recognized as the Herr and Dame of Oktoberfest.  The class rep list will be published next week. Please help support your student(s’) class by supporting the raffle!

 
Cookie dough sale began August 22.

Elementary Special Events
Here it is! All the celebration information for Halloween, All Saints Day, Christmas and Valentines!
 
After School Art will be offered on Tuesdays this year starting Tuesday September 3. Cost is $50 per student-all supplies are provided. Please send cash payment with your student the first Tuesday of every month he/she is attending. After School Art will be offered the months of September, October, November, January, February, March, and April.
The UCA Division of Outreach and Community Engagement will offer an ACT Prep Course beginning Monday, September 30th at 6:00 pm. Sessions will be held from 6-8 pm on Mondays and Thursdays thru October 24th. For more information see Mrs. Roscoe or go to www uca.edu/outreach.

In addition to the $503 donated at our Elia's fundraising night (and shortly thereafter), the cheerleaders received $275 from Elia's thanks to your purchases! Be looking for us next week in the county fair parade on a fire truck. Go Rebels!
