Apprentices celebrate success
Six of our graduating apprentices have been presented with contracts of employment, having completed their four-year apprenticeships.
Electricians Josh Turner, Carl Maloney, Daniel McMahon and Connor Davis, and Gas Plumbers Connor Stobbs and Jack Barron will now begin the next part of their careers, taking on a wide range of work including fitting, servicing and maintenance.
Our apprenticeships are available to all ages, and recruitment is in May/June every year. If you’re interested in next year’s intake, register your interest and we will let you know when we are open for applications.

Inspiring futures event
The North East's largest careers, jobs, skills and apprenticeship event, Skills North East - Inspiring futures, takes place on Tuesday 17 September and Wednesday 18 September, Utilita Arena, Newcastle.
Tuesday 17th September 2019: 9:30am – 3pm and 4:30pm – 7pm
Wednesday 18th September 2019: 9:30am – 3pm

Mental health service launched
ReCoCo (Recovery College Collective) has a new residency at Saltwell Park, practising a peer-led approach to mental health recovery, and providing free access to wellbeing tools and information. They also support community groups by offering free access to the rooms in their building.
Two of our Domestic Abuse Housing Outreach Workers hosted a stall at the launch event last week, providing information about the support services available from the housing company.

Want to work in sales?
The Prince's Trust is seeking work-ready young people (aged 18-30) with an interest in sales – no experience necessary. This is a fast-paced, exciting role with full training given to successful participants. As part of the programme, participants will be offered a guaranteed interview with Inspired Outsourcing.

Mindful walking
Join us for a “mindfulness walk” in the beautiful Chopwell Wood. We’ll meet
at the car park, stroll to the woodland cabin for a cuppa and a short
mindfulness session, then walk back.
Wednesday 4 September 1pm-4pm
Places are limited and pre-booking is required. The event may be unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues.
