Important contact information
Your child will bring home this afternoon (or on Monday for Kindy) a new contact sheet. It is vitally important that we hold up to date contact information for all pupils, including medical details and two emergency contacts who live within reach of the school in case parents cannot be contacted.
Please can you complete a sheet for your child/ren and return it to school either when you attend Meet the Teacher Evening next Tuesday or before that to the school office. If your child is new this term, you will only need to complete the back of the form.
We have revised our Behaviour policy for the new academic year and our system of rewards and sanctions is slightly different. Please find a link to it here and our Behaviour pyramid here
We also have a new Communication policy which we hope will streamline our communications, point you towards all the information you need and avoid unnecessary emails. Please find a link to it here
We need annual permission from you for the children to access the internet at school. All parents need to sign the online form(s) please - even EYFS children sometimes use resources on the internet, although obviously their access to it is strictly controlled. KS2 Games
Games will take place at OC's on Thursdays for Years 3&4 and Fridays for Years 5&6. All pupils will return to school for pick up at 4pm or after school clubs and care.
Tuesday 10th September 6 - 8.00pm Meet The Teacher Evening
Drinks will be served in the hall from 6 to 8pm to give parents a chance to catch up and enjoy a glass of wine. The meetings will be taking place in your child's classroom.
6.00pm for Early Years (Kindergarten and Reception) and Upper KS2 (Years 5 & 6)
6.40pm for KS1 (Years 1&2)
7.20pm for Lower KS2 (Years 3&4)
Wednesday 11th September 3.30pm - 4.30pm - Years 3&4 Residential meetings
KS2 pencil cases - From September, all children in KS2 will be required to have a clear, PVC pencil case in school at all times. If you didn't manage to buy one before the end of last term, they are still available from the office for £3, the proceeds of which will go to charity.

Bottle tops needed
In the Autumn term our head of art, Mrs Willis, is planning the creation of a recycled mosaic for the garden area. Therefore, please could you start saving your bottle tops now! Any bottle tops at all ... the more quantity and variety the better! Thank you.
