Public Meeting
Moodie-417 Bike&Walk Lanes

Monday August 26th 7pm
Lynwood Building - 7 Sycamore Dr

The coming phase-3 Moodie LRT station will bring about more changes than just train and bus traffic.  It will affect car, pedestrian and bicycle traffic infrastructure all around the station including the Moodie bridge over the 417.

Currently, that portion of Moodie is precarious for walkers and bike riders and the increased traffic will make it even trickier for those from Bells Corners going to the LRT station, Department of National Defence (DND) building as well as the bike paths leading to Kanata and downtown.

The community associations of Lynwood Village, Westcliffe Estates, and Crystal Beach-Lakeview have studied the preliminary plans and with Bike Ottawa are recommending a full Multi-Use Pathway (MUP) from Roberson Road north on Moodie up to the DND offices.

Please come this Monday evening to learn more about the current preliminary plans and the recommended changes put forward jointly by the community associations in the affected areas.
