Here are some tips on "Getting Started in Dance Ministry" (courtesy of Free Dance Ministry Resources):

1. Start dancing in your home. Just dance! 
2. Join a dance ministry at your church. 
3. Personal study. Learn and get exposed thru books, resources, tools and the BIBLE. Recommended Books- Dancing into the Anointing (Aimee Kovacs), Restoring the Dance: Seeking God’s Order (Anne Stevenson), My Body is the Temple (Rev. Stephanie Butler)
4. Read the scriptures in regards to dance and praise and worship. Learn about the significance  of the lifting up of hands, clapping, stomping, twirling ....
5. Consider formalized training (dance class, online training, etc)
