Smucker's debuts new ad campaigns


The new ads are "the first work for the brand" from Publicis Groupe’s Power of One team, "which in this case includes Publicis New York, Zenith, MSL, Digitas and Moxie."

As reported by Adage.com, Andy Bird, Chief Creative Officer, Publicis New York, praised the partnership with Smucker's, explaining that it "yielded the kind of creative work I believe is going to make other CPG marketers think twice about how they show up in the world."

Local agency wins 2019 Telly Award

 
Canton-based Innis Maggiore has won a 2019 Telly Award for a TV commercial it produced for Smith’s, one of the largest dairy processors in North America. The agency has handled branding work and advertisement for Smith’s since 2016.

The Telly Awards receives more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents.

Tim Connor: "How account-based marketing is a lot like the Cleveland Browns"


Connor is COO of The Shamrock Companies in Westlake. In this blog post, he draws a comparison between the teamwork required for a football team to succeed and the coordination required to implement account-based marketing strategies.

In football, individuals players must buy into a shared goal for team success. "The same is true in business," writes Connor. "If your sales and marketing team goals are not aligned, you’ll be less effective."

"Like an all-in team effort, account-based marketing (ABM) is one way to connect the two and drive more effective marketing outcomes."
