Brighton-based singer-songwriter Carrie Tree has spent her entire adult life traveling the world with her music, stirring and softening hearts along the way.
With an uncanny ability to reach into the traditions of the lands she visits, she touches a place deep inside the hearts of her listeners wherever she performs.
Carrie has been a feature of the UK’s grassroots scene for over a decade and has toured across Europe. She has collaborated live and in the studio with the likes of Carly Simon, Albert Mazibuko (Ladysmith Black Mambazo), Rumer, Martha Tilston, Damien Rice, and Andy Barlow of Lamb. Carrie featured as the main vocalist on Andy Barlow’s album 'Leap and the Net will Appear', and performed with him live on Dermot O'Leary's BBC2 show to 1.6 million listeners.
