Hi there!

Happy Saturday!  Hope you enjoyed the three NEW recipes I featured this week on the blog.  I loved sharing with you my EASIEST recipe for Instant Pot Brown Rice which is perfect for meal prep and I have a video on Instagram showing just how simple it is to make!  Just click the "cooking" tab in my profile.

Oh and in case you missed it, I have a great GIVEAWAY going on over on my Instagram where I'm giving away not one, but TWO Instant Pots to a few lucky winners!  It's by far one of my favorite kitchen items I own.  The giveaway ends Sunday at midnight so make sure to head over there and enter for a chance to win!

I also want to share with you some tips and easy recipes for getting started on meal prep so check that out below!  These are my favorite go-to dishes that will help you get on track so you can start the week with a fresh, healthy mindset!  Happy meal prepping!

  1. Less cheating!  By prepping meals, you only purchase those items that are on your grocery list so this helps keep those little moments of weakness under control because guess what, if it’s not in your house, you can’t eat it!
  2. Saves you money.  You can plan a whole week’s worth of breakfasts, lunches, dinners and even healthy snacks for all around $100 each week.  This not only saves you from going out to eat, but you won’t waste any food either!
  3. HUGE time saver.  Not only does meal prepping help you stay on track with consistent healthy eating, but it also gives you more time in the evenings to work out, relax or really do whatever you'd like besides rushing home to prep a meal.
  4. Helps meet your fitness goals.  When you plan your meals out ahead of time, not only are you learning portion control, but by fueling your body with wholesome nutritional food it motivates you to want to work out that much more!
  5. Gives a great variety!  Planning out meals each week tends to get a little boring, but commit to trying out at least 1 or 2 NEW recipes each week to make it fun!  I keep a Pinterest board with ones that I'm excited to try.
Four simple recipes for you to meal prep this week!  Great for dinner or even lunches.  Make one or make them all!
