The 43rd Washington State Public Transportation Conference, Vendor Expo, and State Roadeo is in the books. Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, sponsored and volunteered.

WSTA Staff are in the process of closing out the conference which will take us a few days. We ask that you be patient while we work to upload the presentations and banquet photos to our website, begin invoicing and other odds and ends.

Thank you in advance!

WSTA is proud to co-host the 2020 44th Washington State Public Transportation Conference Vendor Expo, & State Roado with APTA's State Public Transportation Partnerships Conference.

APTA at our Conference will bring an increased presence from Federal Transit Administration officials along with organizations such as; Community Transportation Association of America and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials.

We are thankful and excited Spokane Transit has welcomed us to their community for this major event.  See you next year and save the date!

WSTA Job of the Week:

Executive Coordinator/Cleark of the Board
Valley Transit

Under direct supervision of the HR Manager, but ultimately reporting to the General Manager, this position performs a wide variety of administrative, policy, and training support functions for Valley Transit, including serving as Clerk of the Board of Directors; interacting with Board members, elected officials, executive management, and other stakeholders; supports policy analysis of relevant federal, state, and local regulations as applied to Valley Transit; and tracking, researching, and analyzing information in support of the General Manager. Additionally, this role supports development, implementation, and long term maintenance of Valley Transit training programs as well as delivering in-house marketing of available training opportunities to employees, and providing the necessary information. Because work and information in this role may be of a confidential nature, the exercise of discretion and tact is required.
