🌄 What are your personal rituals?
Most of the time I share my discoveries and ideas with the Bit Better Community. When I started composing this newsletter, I thought about writing a short piece regarding a morning routine. I know such personal rituals are useful and many people I talk to have their own approaches.
I've changed my mind. In the Bit Better Community everyone can share their knowledge and not only learn from others but also teach something meaningful.
So this time I ask you: What are some of your routines and rituals?
Do you have a morning routine? An evening routine? A learning routine? A skin-care routine? Reply to this e-mail so I can learn something from you. After that, we can share the most interesting responses in a future issue.
📚 Reading
I've finally finished "Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking." The book is very good. It was funny how I discovered that I've been already seeing some of the examples provided in my own life.
For example, I love organizing various events, but for me attending the event is really tiring. There are crowds, there is noise, there are too many things happening at the same time.
Regardless of whether you feel the same or not, it is worth reading this book. Either you'll find some great tips for yourself or you will be able to better understand introverted people that you may interact with.
Oh, and two of my older articles recently got republished. One is "If You Can Write Code, You Can Write Blogs" at Better Programming, the other is "Developers: Drop Your Perfectionism" at Towards Data Science. Even though the latter has "developers' in its title, I think it applies to all of us.
🎵 Music
Before they started playing pop-rock, Genesis was a progressive rock band. With Peter Gabriel still on vocal duty "Nursery Cryme" is the first album recorded with Phil Collins. And it's also one of the best in their career according to my taste!
