Must Read for All Chaperones!

Chaperoning games and competitions is a great way to support our marching eagles and have fun!  You get to bond with other parents, and watch the kids perform, play in the stands, bond with their friends, plus you enjoy a football game or a show, and you don't pay admission.

Here's a quick review of chaperone responsibilities for football games and competitions:

  • Chaperones will help distribute game day meals.
  • Make sure you get your chaperone lanyard from Robin Lownsbury (and if Robin's not there, Mindy West). Upon returning to Godwin return your lanyard to Robin (or Mindy)..
  • On the buses one of the chaperones will perform a roll call (checklist) before leaving Godwin and again before departure heading back to school.
  • At the games and competitions the chaperones are there to support and monitor band members in the stands, and keep others out of our section in the stands.

Here is the sign-up link to chaperone games & competitions. There are still slots available! Contact Robin Lownsbury, Chaperone Chair with questions
