It's a Farmers Market Showdown
View this email in your browser
Have you been to a farmers market lately? I was at the Union Square Farmer’s Market in New York this past week, and it felt like a cross between a jewelry store and a candy shop. The colors, the fresh smells. . . . It was pretty heavenly. Scroll down past the recipes of the month if you like, and see some of what I saw. How, I ask, how could you not go home with as much as you could carry?

And then the games begin: man/woman against produce. In one corner, you with your canvas shopping bags and your eyes that are bigger than your stomach. In the other corner, piles and piles of red, yellow, orange, green, purple, and even blue fruits and vegetables. But you will win. You. Will. Win.
