Fundraiser: SisterWeb's Izilda Araujo Wright Community Doula Wellness Fund
In honor of SisterWeb's beloved community member, Izilda Araujo Wright, they have launched a fund in her name. The "Izilda Araujo Wright Community Doula Wellness Fund" will be made available to SisterWeb doulas and doula mentors to be used in moments of need for mental health services and other related wellness expenses.
SisterWeb acknowledges the immense emotional, physical and spiritual toll that community doula work can take on birth workers and the need for accessible and stigma-free solutions for getting support quickly. SW leadership is working with several mental health providers and community members to design the implementation protocols for how this fund will be used. Donate
