Do You know a Scout looking for an Eagle Project?
Boy Scouts wanting to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout may choose a project to gift children living in poverty with new bedding. Three scouts have already completed their Eagle Projects with Sweet Dream in a Bag.
The Eagle Project goal is to gift 50 children living in poverty with new bedding packages. In the bedding package is a new twin comforter, sheet set, fleece blanket, pillow, tooth brush and tooth paste, a hand-made wooden toy car, and a stuffed toy.
The scout first step is to get approval from his scout council for the Eagle Project. The scout then makes complete plans for the project. Other project tasks include; fundraising half of the money required to purchase the bedding, obtaining a facility for packing bedding, assembling the bedding items for transporting to the packing facility, encouraging others to participate in packing event, leading and coordinating a packing event and encouraging others scouts to attend a gifting event to gift the children their new bedding package. 100% of the money raised by the scout goes to purchase new bedding for children.
The scout’s final task is to submit his final Eagle Project report to the scout council for approval. The Eagle Scout project benefits scouts wanting to obtain the Eagle Scout rank by developing and applying leadership skills, while encouraging other scouts in their scouting journey.
Sweet Dream in a Bag meets with each scout wanting an Eagle Project and provides them with information to help make the Eagle Project a success. The Eagle Project takes the scout many hours of planning, leading and executing the plan to become an Eagle Scout. Call us: 303-507-2098
