Wait! Do this first!
Please take a few moments to complete the COTS Kids & Youth Registration 2019-2020 so that we have contact and medical info for your youth in case of emergency.
Here's who we have so far. If your name isn't there, we still need yours. Thanks!
Emily, Helen, Tom, Joe, Will, Eliot, Wesley, Lucy, Kai, Jes, Will, Clare, Ben, Charles, Avery, Marcus, Vince, Anna, Jack, Claire, Tommy, Mitchell, Nora Lee, Garrett, Colin, Gabe, Gus, Casey, Ronan, Alex, Elliot, David, Lukas, Jacob, Ella
We need it for Sunday mornings, all youth group activities, choirs, and anything else that's organized through COTS ministries where the parent/guardian may not be present.
It's good for the school year, you can do all your kids at once, and is a tremendous help in our ministries. THANK YOU!

Understanding Poverty: Simulation & Discussion
Who: Youth grades 6-12 & friends who register by Sept 15 at 9:00 pm. (space is limited)
What: Understanding Poverty is an interactive experience that helps participants begin to understand what it might be like to live in a typical low-income family trying to survive from month to month. It is a simulation, not a game. Learn more here.
When: Sunday, Sept 22, 3:00 - 6:00 pm
REQUIRED: COTS Kids & Youth Registration 2019-2020
Where: Meet & pick up in the Great Hall of the church.
Why: Increased understanding. Our youth and leaders who have experienced this found it to be VERY perspective-expanding. Amy and Lillian even created their own for the Sr High Youth to experience at the last retreat - and it was GREAT.
How: Understanding Poverty is an event of the East Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church. COTS is one of three venues and it's open to the entire conference. Youth from all over will be there!
