A safe place — for you? 

Who wouldn't want a safe place to share their thoughts and feelings and be believed? This is especially true for someone who has been abused, whether physically, psychologically or sexually. Maria Goretti Network, a new ministry for abuse victims and their families, is forming in Conway starting Sept. 27.

This feast honors Mary's tribulations as Jesus' mother. Blessed Henry Suso was one of the earliest to practice devotions to the Sorrows of Mary, which are now seven: the prophecy of Simeon, the flight to Egypt, the boy Jesus being lost for three days, his ascent to Calvary, his crucifixion and death, his body being removed from the cross, and his body being entombed.
