From our Pastors...
One aspect of living in the Kingdom is learning to live a more generous life. Generosity is a response to grace. When we are generous, we participate in our heavenly Father's business of grace. We encourage you to consider how you develop a lifestyle of generosity - how can you be generous with your gifts, space, time, talents, calling and treasure? And how we can become a more generous community?

Over the next few weeks we will be exploring how to faithfully and intentionally steward what God has given us so we can contribute toward the advancement of the Kingdom. If you want to go deeper in your walk with Jesus and understand how your life can make a difference we encourage you to consider living a generous life. We will be covering the following at our Sunday Morning Gatherings...
  • 8th Sept - Using our spiritual gifts to bless others
  • 15th Sept - Showing hospitality without favouritism
  • 22nd Sept - Living out our God-given calling
  • 29th Sept - Managing our time and resources for kingdom purposes
  • 13th Oct - Giving our money generously and wisely
We have a Journey Group guide that explores Generous Living, you may want to gather a few friends and explore this journey of generosity together.

In other news...
Here are some stories from the kids groups over the last academic year.
It is so encouraging to see our kids engaging with God, listening to him and acting on it - we can learn so much from them!

Story 1:
4 kids from Live Wires and 4 kids in Fuse (2 unchurched) prayed a prayer committing their lives to Jesus.

Story 2:
In Fuse, both churched and unchurched kids regularly prayed out loud for their friends and people in need around the world.
2-4 year old's in Bright Sparks are also praying out loud, thanking God and asking him to heal their friends and family.
They are also really engaging in kids worship.

Story 3:
One of the Live Wires children felt God was talking to her about a child at school who didn't play with anyone. The group prayed for the boy, and then she was encouraged to be his friend.

Story 4:
A Live Wires child was having nightmares and suggested to her family that they prayed. They prayed together and the nightmares stopped.

Story 5:
When a family's car broke down, their 6 year old said that God told him they should all get out of the car and then pray the car would start. They prayed inside the car but the car didn't start. After a while they listened to their child, got out of the car and prayed, and the car started!

We are hearing so many stories from parents saying that their kids are constantly singing worship songs at home, asking more questions about God, and praying for anything that concerns them. One child regularly prays that no one would touch his lego!

If these stories excite you and you would like to get involved with one of our kids teams [contact Zia].

We believe that we are all called to continue the ministry of Jesus and do the things that He did. Join us as we discover how to invite the Holy Spirit into every aspect of our lives.

Our prayer for this conference is that each of us will grow in having a powerful and effective kingdom impact on the world around us. As we gather we’ll worship, learn together and have plenty of time to pray for one another, expectant that God is going to meet us.

This year we are privileged to welcome Blaine Cook and Alexander Venter as our main session speakers.

[please note there will be no 'Half Night of Prayer' on the 4th Oct]
